The original 1586 was produced from 1976 to 1981 as part of the International Harvester 86 Series. Built in Rock Island, Illinois, it represented the large, powerful row-crop machines working American farms during the late 1970s and early 1980s.
The extended red body and upright front grille create the strong, purposeful profile associated with large tractors of the period.
Transparent windows reveal the steering and seating area while the contrasting light roof helps define the tractor’s distinctive cab silhouette.
The paired rear wheels give the model its heavy agricultural stance and immediately communicate the scale and presence of the original machine.
